John Meade was first hired 20 years ago on a Ford Probe commercial we did outside of Albuquerque. We scouted for locations in three states where we could run a stagecoach, camera car and the Probe traveling at over 50 mph. The only place I liked was on Native American land and it was sacred. The tribal elders had never given permission to allow a commercial shoot prior to our company's request. And guess who was instrumental in getting that clearance? It was John.
Throughout the years, John has worked on my bigger stress-infused projects. We would fly him out to L.A. on jobs we knew that the other producers we were used to hiring couldn't handle. Whether it was chasing down rollerbladers on the Venice Beach boardwalk, luring uncooperative trained cats onto grocery check-out conveyor belts or entertaining irate and ill-mannered clients, John was always able to handle the toughest situations without fail. Having him around meant that all of the not-so-fun producer tasks got solved without problems no matter what the circumstances. He gets a big A+ from Apple Box!

John Meade is incredible... if only the location managers and scouts in LA were as buttoned up as he is... without question one of the finest I have ever worked with. Every detail was meticulously planned, every sign put up (it was a long day with LOTS of travel and very distant locations). He is a star and you are very lucky to have him out there. John Meade was first hired 20 years ago on a Ford Probe commercial we did outside of Albuquerque. We scouted for locations in three states where we could run a stagecoach, camera car and the Probe traveling at over 50 mph. The only place I liked was on Native American land and it was sacred. The tribal elders had never given permission to allow a commercial shoot prior to our company's request. And guess who was instrumental in getting that clearance? It was John.
Throughout the years, John has worked on my bigger stress-infused projects. We would fly him out to L.A. on jobs we knew that the other producers we were used to hiring couldn't handle. Whether it was chasing down rollerbladers on the Venice Beach boardwalk, luring uncooperative trained cats onto grocery check-out conveyor belts or entertaining irate and ill-mannered clients, John was always able to handle the toughest situations without fail. Having him around meant that all of the not-so-fun producer tasks got solved without problems no matter what the circumstances. He gets a big A+ from Apple Box!
